Title: Fedex Spam
Post by: mike_mattos on June 14, 2012, 08:53:28 PM
For some reason, the AV and spam system is not catching this, despite showing normal settings and status reports

Wondered if anyone else has encountered it?

That's why I don't rely solely on SME for all AV and use workstation versions as well, eg free ones such as avast or avg, or paid ones like eset or sep.

That being said, is your clamav up to date?

I forward my personal  SME server hosted mail addresses to my ISP, they filter, then my local PC filters as a third level.   Weekly I look to see what needs to be white listed.   That particular item seemed to get through up to date versions of the SME filters days after it was trapped in the other systems.
