Title: IPSEC on 5.5
Post by: Kevin on July 22, 2002, 11:14:28 PM
Will somebody point me to a HOWTO on Freeswan/IPSEC with SME 5.5?  I can find one on SME 4/5, but not 5.5 and it looks like Freeswan 1.97 is different in config than previous versions (and there is no documentation on 1.97 on www.freeswan.org).

I found a couple of walk throughs on the web, but I'm not sure how the differences will effect me on SME.  For instance, one I was looking at recommends to put the CA in /var/ssl/sslca, but the ssl directory on SME is in /usr/home/share/ssl and doesn't seem to have a sslca or ca or ? directory.  Also, it says to modify a conf file in /etc (that I cannot remember the name of all the sudden) that sets up RSA, but the SME version looks very different than his example.

A friend of mine is running it and says he had to turn off compression to get it to work?
