Title: Email no longer sending via Thunderbird, relaying denied
Post by: girkers on July 30, 2012, 06:04:05 AM
I have a BIG problem, this morning I sent a couple of emails from thunderbird fine and then later I came back and it no longer worked. Now when I try and send an email it rejects it saying that relaying is denied and when you look at the log file you can see why, however I didn't change anything and I am wondering what the hell happened over the two hours I left my computer to stop it from working. Here is a copy of the qpsmtpd log (goodrcpt list cleaned):

Log section was too big to paste into message.

My computer is on the local network and the domain I am sending from is the main domain for the server and it is configured in Sever Only mode.

Can anyone help me with this.

Thanks

Please see the SME8 Release Announcement, particularly this:

Thanks Charlie that fixed it, however I made no changes originally so it is still a mystery as to what changed in that two hours I was away from my computer.
