Title: Windows 7 join domain to SME 7.6

Hi All,
Are there any quick reference to joining Windows 7 (Professional / Ultimate) with SME 7.6 machine

You need to use sme8.0 which has smb support for Windows 7 domain members.

Before trying to join the domain, on your Windows 7 workstation on the LAN run this reg key, ie double click to install it
www.yourdomain.com/server-resources/regedit/win7samba.reg

Then just follow the normal Windows instructions re joining a domain.

but then you end up with a non standard server, so better in my opinion to just upgrade to sme8.0.
