Hello to All,
I make a complete reinstall on 2 computers SME8 (hardware ist the same). The installation was successful. One computer remains the boot hangs because it can not find/make qoutafiles. By pressing any key, the boot process will continue. The server "worked." In server-manager, I can input qoutas for a user, the server-manager says that they are saved, but in the display the ZERO (no qouta) is shown. When I reboot the game goes all over again. The 2nd computer at boot also no find/make qoutafiles, but it runs after short stop by itself high on. When I manually entering the server-manger then the same as the first computer. Otherwise everything works.
Someone knows advice? Greetings
Harald

reinstall means: backup -> reinstall -> restore?

No, it is a complete new installation.

Please report *all* problems via the bug tracker (not the forum). Thanks.

How can I create qoutafiles, needed by the OS manually?
Thx

I seem to recall reading that under certain conditions (eg I think one of them was lot's of users), making the quota files can take a long time, so maybe you did not wait long enough.
Is it possible to deactivate quota support?
It says in the server manager panel:
A setting of '0' for either limit disables that limit for the corresponding user.
