Hello --all
I have a little problem when accessing the server-manager panel on SMEServer8 fresh installed.
My SMEServer will be copied from an host with rsynch on my dedicted server.
I have done this because we cant install your own distribution with iso. (it's another problem)
So i have installed a new SMEServer, configured it and rsync it.
I have made booting well the server with SME, and correct some access right to cgi-bin files and folders to have my S-M login well.
But now, i can't log in with "admin" user.
I have this in the /var/log/secure :
Oct 8 10:19:13 dedi unix_chkpwd[3649]: check pass; user unknown
Oct 8 10:19:13 dedi unix_chkpwd[3649]: password check failed for user (admin)
Oct 8 10:19:13 dedi pwauth: pam_unix(pwauth:auth): authentication failure; logname= uid=101 euid=101 tty= ruser= rhost= user=admin
I have modified in the /etc/shadow file the hash of admin and root user, from a other server running SMEServer8 too to have an SSH access.
If anyone have an idea, it's welcome.
Thaks for help, and sorry for my poor English :)

Salut Pierre, your post is not clear enough, you do not provide sufficient information to make sense of your questions. Please try to clarify your issue, or post in the French Forum, at the moment, some people think you are making a joke (or trolling).

Your installation method is non-standard and unsupported. You will need to have good linux skills, and perhaps knowledge also of SME server, to have any hope of getting this working.
