Title: two identical servers with different amount of physical memory used
Post by: davidS on November 11, 2012, 05:54:14 PM
hello   :-)
I have two almost identical server hardware and software, but one uses almost all the amount of physical memory
(97%), and the second using only 30% of physical memory.
My question is which server is working correctly ?

both..

Linux uses RAM in a smarter way than windows..
you should not worry about RAM as long as your servers don't use too much swap

hi
thank you for the quick reply
the swap file is 0 on both of the servers but still the physical memory is significantly different .
