I've had a read through the manuals but have not found anything on this yet.
We have a requirement to encrypt some outgoing messages, does anyone have any experience doing this on SME?
Thanks.

What type of messages? Email? Which messages? Where does your requirement come from? There are various ways to encrypt email messages, but you need to co-ordinate with the recipient(s) to ensure that you are encrypting in a way that they can decrypt. The encryption would be done by the email program you use, and has nothing to do with SME server, which treats those email messages just as it treats any other.

Messages = email! :oops:
Thanks Charlie, sorry for being so vague. We ended up installing a certificate on the client and exchanging digital ID's with the recipient to enable encryption. Wasn't sure if you could do something server side to make it a side wide capability though?
