How can I get the "normal" unix console instead of SMEServer console ?
All my tty (1,2, 3) have SMEServer console.
Thx

alt+F2 and alt+F1 toggles back and forth between sme console and linux prompt.

I log into tty1 and tty2 and I have two sme console. alt+F1 and alt+F2 show the same thing... a sme console??

Log on to the SME console and navigate to the section which allows you to set the option of logon prompt or console and change the setting.
You'll then get a logon prompt.
You can also logon from your PC using ssh (search for putty on the forums).

Or alternatively you can alt-f2 to a new login prompt and login as "root" then give your standard SME admin password. This will give you a command line.
Cheers,
