SMEServer 8.0 ISO refers to a repo at:
http://linux.duke.edu/metadata/repo (http://linux.duke.edu/metadata/repo)
On moving to Scientific Linux @ Duke (http://sites.duke.edu/linux/2011/05/09/scientific-linux-6-on-linuxduke/), the location of the repo is now:
http://install.linux.duke.edu/pub/linux/base/centos-5/i386/repodata/ (http://install.linux.duke.edu/pub/linux/base/centos-5/i386/repodata/)
It probably has some latest RPMs that may address issue in SME8.

This repo has some aspell files and some rpms whose ancestors will not render accented characters well in horde and some overflow vulnerabilities. It is possible that the old rpms can be substituted with newer ones from elsewhere as well.
