Title: Installing SMEv8 on Debian/VitualBox

In case it helps anyone, I was having trouble getting past a boot line Starting with "NET..." despite specifying an IDE drive for the OS.

Setting the chipset to ICH9 and it's corresponding "Enable IO APIC" in the VB system settings did the trick.

Thanks to the SME devs and community for all your work on this distro.

I have experienced some problems with ICH9 (the installer did not find hard disk), give a try with PIIX3 and it work fine
