Title: SMTP whith Hosting dont send mails!

Hello my friends! I have problem whith my sme server 8, i have a mail and web page hosting whith my ISP, and the the smtp to send my mails is smtp.mydomaing.com, but when i try to send mails whith outlook, the server refuse my conection, ONLY whith Outlook i change the SMTP port to 25,587 and 465 but thats dosent work...
What i can do?

Do you get some kind of error message from the external SMTP-server? When you use Outlook, do you send your e-mail to the local SME-server first, or directly to the external SMTP-server?

What mode is your server in? If server-gateway try disabling the smtp proxy. Other info may be what domain you are using internally?

My server is on server-gateway mode, i have disable the smtp proxy, and http proxy on the server manager, the name of the domain is companyname.local, but i dont use a internal mail, i use a hosting mail service, which your smtp server is smtp.hostingname.com, and pop server is pop.hostingname.com, i dont have problem configuring others hostings whose domain is mail.hostingname.com...

If you don't have problems with other remote hosting serices, I would think it may be on this providers side.
