Hi All
Finally i am starting the move to SME8, (time is always a problem).
On my 7.x server i use 3. party backup (http://www.nordic-backup.eu/)
I don't like the fact that this solution runs JAVA.
I my new setup I have planned to setup 2 servers.
Server 1. (Main server)
Installed in factory using almost all functions in the plain SME
Server 2. (Remote located)
Used for test purpose (Webdevelopment ect.)
Holding backups offsite
I planned to use the SME standard Backup to network.
The question is now, should I
1. backup to local network in office and then sync to remote server
or
2. Backup to remote server (connectet through OpenVPN site2site - http://wiki.contribs.org/OpenVPN_SiteToSite)
or
3. Am I missing something, more simpel solution. I like KIS concepts
The connection between the 2 locations are (Fiber 15 mbit.)

yes.. you missed Affa (http://wiki.contribs.org/Affa) :)
you can run it even without vpn, as it uses ssh..

Hi Steano
I know that, Affa seems to be the perfect tool. But I can see that it is not maintained no more.
Would it be a repayable solution for the future?
I need the Site2site for the servers anyway for sharing networks.
Witch method is best for restoring single files.
