Title: Address book setup ?

I have Esmith 5.5 installed and working good execept for the address book.  If I try and add an entry or access my address book I get this message:

Error  Failed to connect to the specified directory.

What else must I do to setup the address book ?
Under opstions I have My Address book selected  when adding addresses.
