Hi,
I have an IPCop firewall providing DHCP, and I want IPCOP to do so.
I have a SME8 server and I would like this one to run tftp for a few thin client I have
I set up smeserver-tftp-server and smeserver-thinclient, not changing anything.
Your PXE Boot Server is Enabled
Your TFTP Server is Self
The default Distribution is Default
I set up DHCP Ipcop to have
next-server pointing to the IP of the SME server and filename set to "pxelinux.0" both pointing to the green interface.
when I turn on the thin client, it picks up the IP adress properly but cannot find pxelinux.0
I noticed that on the SME interface it is mentionned :
"DHCP is currently disabled, and none of this will work until you enable it!"
what is normal.
The set up I use on the IPCOP is the one I use for a Fog server, so I know it works on other breed of Linux, but with the template system of SME I guess I have to to it differently.
so, is it possible to use tftp form SME8 by mentioning on IPCOP the proper path to pxelinux.0 ?
thanks for your help.

I think you should download one pxelinux.0 file and put in a tree under directory as configurated on PXE of SME.
If I remember correctly this is /tftpboot dir.
Search for it on google... and report here later.

Hi,
Thanks. OK, I thought that the contrib came with pxelinux.0. I look into that and let you know.
