Title: Adding a RAID 1 partition to an existing SME 5.5 server
Post by: vartan on August 08, 2002, 03:42:52 AM
Hello

Thanks to some people here, I succeded to install SME 5.1 on a RAID 1 server using a HighPoint PCI card.
At that time, both system (SME 5) and data directory were installed on the RAID 1 partition.

Now, I have an extra 20 Go hard disk and I'd like to have :
SME installed on the single 20 Go hard drive
data stored on the RAID 1 partition

I found but didn't find a clear path in order to achieve that.

I have the driver floppy disk for the HighPoint card. When I previoulsy installed SME on the RAID partition, it was done automatically at the installation time using the "accept dd" command instead of "accept".
Does anyone know what succession of command I have to enter in order to get my new configuration ? (SME 5.5 already installed on the 20 Go drive)

Thanks
Vartan
