Title: restore with dar2

hello
i am trying to restore new server with dar2 and i get this error message in the log file :
 
srvback e-smith-bg: Connecting /mnt/dar2/backup to \\192.168.10.245\Download
srvback e-smith-bg: Expanding /etc/dar2/backup template
srvback e-smith-bg: Error locating /srvback.server.local/backup dir

why does it trying to locate the full server name ?

Because that is where it saved the backup file originally.
You need to create the same folder structure, path & names if you are restoring from a different location.

what is needed to be done before restoring is to configure the server with the same configuration, FQDN.
after that everything went well
