Title: schirrm´s fetchmail and ssl

Hallo,

my provider wants me to use ssl for fetching mails. I always get an error "unknown protocol". is fetchmail at sme8 not compiled with ssl?
Any hints?

no. this case describes to shutoff ssl if you have trouble with it. I must use ssl... :( :-(
