I have an E-Smith box acting as our school gateway/DHCP/proxy server. My problem is that sometimes pages don't expire soon enough in the proxy cache. If I read the local online newspaper today....tomorrow I'll still get yesterday's news. Refresh doesn't always work....what can I do? Can I edit the time to live in the cache and if so, how do I do it? Any other possibilities?

If your using IE, hold down 'Ctrl' then click Refresh to force the proxy to reload the page.
