Title: [SOLVED] increase vmware disk size
Post by: crazybob on December 13, 2013, 02:27:19 PM
I am using vmware server 1, on SME 7.6. I am trying to increase the virtual drive using vmware-vdiskmanager from the command line. Problem appears to be spaces in the vmdk file name. I took the default of "Windows XP Professional" when I set the server up. Now when I try to expand it, it doesn't, it just shows me the command options.

Is there an easy way around this?

I have posted this at vmware also.

TIA

Bob

Problem appears to be spaces in the vmdk file name.

Use:

'file name'

not

file name
