Title: forbid outgoing mail for some user ?
Post by: fpausp on April 05, 2014, 10:41:34 PM
I have fetchmail contrib installed to get the mails for the users. What I want to do is to block outgoing mails, just a few user are allowed to send mail outside the LAN, the rest of them should be able to send mails only on the internal network (LAN).

How can I do this, any suggestions ?

Why do you want to? Unless you block https access to gmail, hotmail, etc, then any user on your LAN can send mail.

If this is important to you, post a policy, keep a watch on the logs, and admonish/punish any users who don't follow your rules. Sometimes technical solutions aren't the best/only ones to apply.

I think that perhaps an answer to the question posed is summarized in this (http://forums.contribs.org/index.php/topic,50497.msg254203.html#msg254203) 3d...
