Attempting to use the mySQL system, I understand, that I should use a command like this mysql_connect(”servername”,”user”,”password”);

OK, but what is user and password when you try it for the first time?

or if you are feeling lucky try this :

SELECT "help" FROM forum
 WHERE content LIKE mysql password

Instal: http://myezserver.com/downloads/mitel/contrib/phpmyadmin-2.2.3/ then use it within server Manager to manage mySQL server.
