Try with sme9‚ you can remove the flag text at the grub prompt if you need to do partitions manually

here the guy uses 4TB for data and not at all for boot, maybe you should do like him an took two HD for raid1 and use the 4TB for data, or consider that you have to find Drives of 2TB.
could you try to install a centos6 on your 4TB in order for not wasting time on sme9 if it is not possible with the upstream.

You should do web search with a topic 'gpt el6 centos6' and see what it pops up. We cannot make more that redhat allows to do. Sorry it is a fact.
For particular cases of installation, you can use the advanced installer and do all allowed partitions you want, of course that is manual.
