Title: SME OpenVox B400P and Siemens exchange.
Post by: Drifting on June 02, 2014, 03:16:39 PM
Hi.
Has anyone any experience in configuring the above ISDN card and SME server to forward a voip incoming call to  a Siemens old style PBX ISDN  exchange. Interested in doing this as a trunk, or even having the Siemens use an extension.  None of this is set in stone, as the setup is purely for me to learn about doing so, as I have potentially an install if at all possible. What I would ideally like to do is have specific incoming voip (either trunk or DDI extension)calls go to specific extension or trunk on the Siemens. I could not really ask for help from the distributor as this may never manage to make it off the drawing board.

Yeah, we've done these with a hi-path Paul.  Just set the card to pri-net instead of pri-cpe.
Works fine.

Best
