Title: PGP Public/Private Keys inside Horde
Post by: calisun on July 15, 2014, 11:51:10 AM
Whenever I try to create PGP Public/Private Keys inside Horde, I get an option to create 1024 or 2048 key length. No matter which option I choose, the system always generates 1024 key length.

I was also reading that PGP can create 1024, 2048 or even 4096 keys, but 4096 is not one of the options offered.

looks like nobody has any experience with using PGP inside Horde. I thought everybody would be trying to use it with the latest NSA scandals.

this is not, IMO, a SME's (strictly) related problem, you should search (also) elsewhere..

The issue here involves not just using PGP with horde, but specifically creating the keys within horde.  I use PGP in horde, but created the keys separately.

If you upgrade to SME 9.0, you might want to try John Bennett's Horde 5.2 RPMs--the version that ships with SME 8 and 9 is two major releases behind current, and Horde 5/IMP 6 may help in this regard.
