Title: Python 2.7.8
Post by: ElFroggio on October 29, 2014, 10:25:31 PM
Hi,

I'd like to run something that requires Python 2.7.7 or 2.7.8. I'd like to upgrade. Currently SME9 runs 2.6.6.

Has someone gone to 2.7.x without breaking things?

Thanks

Syv

I didn't know about this, but I've seen: http://wiki.contribs.org/Python_Altinstall (http://wiki.contribs.org/Python_Altinstall) and before I "monkey" around, I wanted to make sure not to break things around.

Thanks

The BIG warning message about installing compiling stuff should lead to a thought somewhere around 'nuff said' ;-)

Yes and why do you think that I'm asking around before "monkeying" with the server?

Thanks
