Hi,
I had some hard disk problems. I changed it, reloaded new install with backup from CD (#8: Perfrom backup...) and now I get:
bdb_db_open: database "dc=911networks,dc=com" cannot be opened, err 13. Restore from backup!
* Which database is this?
* It may be also corrupted on the backup. How do I create a new (empty that I will repopulate manually) ldap database?
Forgot to mention: This is SME9. And going through my backups (the last 2.5 month), this has been this way for more then 2.5 month.
Thanks
Syv

LDAP received some fixes. Did you fully 'yum update' after initial install? If so, can you update also using:
yum update --enablerepo=smetest, smeupdates-testing
and then do restore?
See: http://wiki.contribs.org/SME_Server_recent_fixes (http://wiki.contribs.org/SME_Server_recent_fixes)

Hi,
I did:
yum update --enablerepo=smetest,smeupdates-testing e-smith-ldap
and it looks like it's fixed.
Thanks

same problem here...
after last openldap update, same crash :/
yum update --enablerepo=smetest,smeupdates-testing e-smith-ldap
it saved my day ;)
(i've noticed the problem trying to add an ibay. Error... after esmith-ldap update i had to db accounts delete ibay-name and userdel ibay-name before being able to re-add my ibay)

@all: please use bugzilla, THANK YOU
-
only for information, same problem here

Sorry Stefano ;)

done!

Why report this again in bugzilla whilst this issue is solved with bug http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8635 (http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8635) and a updated package has already been released? Hence using the smetest and/or updates-testing repo to get this update.
Also hence my hint to see http://wiki.contribs.org/SME_Server_recent_fixes (http://wiki.contribs.org/SME_Server_recent_fixes) where it is listed as fixed.
"Use bugzilla" includes searching it
