Hi
I have done a new release of smeserver-sme9admin see the changelog http://mirror.de-labrusse.fr/Sme-Server/smeserver-sme9admin/
* Sat Nov 22 2014 stephane de labrusse <stephdl@de-labrusse.fr> 1.5-10.sme
- added a second fan speed sensors
- added four HD TEMP sensors
- added a new graph only for hd temperature sensors
- added an event sme9admin-update for avoiding to restart the server
- added a tab to check the raid status
I would love if that can be tested on real hardware before I release it. If all goes like I have tested at home, the rrd files will be saved and we add 5 DS more in sensors.rrd
wget http://mirror.de-labrusse.fr/Sme-Server/smeserver-sme9admin/smeserver-sme9admin-1.5-10.el6.sme.noarch.rpm
yum install smeserver-sme9admin-1.5-10.el6.sme.noarch.rpm --enablerepo=stephdl,epel
signal-event sme9admin-update
after that you must enable/select which HD (now 6HD max) & FAN (2 FAN max) you want to monitor. In the main Panel of sme9admin you have also a raid status check of your software raid

hi stephan
Small correction yum install smeserver-sme9admin-1.5-10.el6.sme.noarch.rpm
i'm getting a dependency error
--> Processing Dependency: hddtemp for package: smeserver-sme9admin-1.5-10.el6.sme.noarch
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Package: smeserver-sme9admin-1.5-10.el6.sme.noarch (/smeserver-sme9admin-1.5-10.el6.sme.noarch)
Requires: hddtemp
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
EDIT:
correction - this is an update so i needed to install sme9admin from wiki and then install the update so far installation went well .
i will test more
EDIT:
after test - everything seems to working good, now error on log

Thks...indeed i forgot to add the --enablerepo=epel,stephdl
Sorry ;)

Bonjour Stephane :-)
Tested as per your instruction. Everything works OK except this. After installation, l choose the new fan tag and after few minutes found out is the wrong one. Redo my choice and wait for the change on the graph. the graph is stuck with the old value ( 20 minutes ).
The raid status is a good idea, this one is OK.
Only a suggestion, could you add more fan. My server as only 2 disk but 4 fans.

For a matter of not doing the work too much time, how many sensors we could add to sme9admin
I mean for cpu/mobo, Fan and HD
I took a look to motherboards which are sell now and they have almost 10 sata ports, therefore we could add that number, but we will need to increase the width of the graph

For temp > cpu, mobo and one spare should be good.
For Fan > 6 should be enough. cpu, chipset, front fan, rear fan, top fan and a spare one
For HD > How many disk normaly you install on the server. The 6 we got should be good.
Sure if we look gamers motherboards, they got plenty of sensors. Are they all useful, not shure.

I have released smeserver-sme9admin-1.5-11.el6.sme.noarch.rpm
for now I have not added the sensors of the comment above, that will do for the next release
yum update --enablerepo=stephdl
signal-event sme9admin-update
