Title: Backups

I need to do some manual backups with just tar. There's http://wiki.contribs.org/Backup_server_config (http://wiki.contribs.org/Backup_server_config) and it mentions:

/etc/e-smith/templates-custom
/etc/e-smith/templates-user-custom
/etc/group
/etc/gshadow
/etc/passwd
/etc/samba/secrets.tdb
/etc/samba/smbpasswd
/etc/shadow
/etc/smbpasswd
/etc/ssh
/etc/sudoers
/home/e-smith
/root

and also /opt

This was for sme7. Is it still current? or are there changes?

Please read all articles fully.
There are commands listed further down in that article that will display the backup & restore inclusions list.
