Title: Squid with user-authentication

I searched the forum for an equivalent thread, but i didnt't find one... my problem is, that i want to have the squid proxy to authenticate the users. i want to use the pam_auth module in /usr/lib/squid. i edited the configuration, but it wont work. des anyone know ho to get this up and running?

Download and install this rpm. www.comnetel.com/tmp-mitel-pam-auth-0.1-1.noarch.rpm Under 5.1.2 you have to manually enter the proxy details in the browser but under 5.5 it works with the proxy auto detection. I've tested with both XP and 98 and it seems OK.

Lloyd could I please get a copy of that rpm I tried to get it off your server but it wasn't there anymore. This would be much appreciated.
