hello
after server last smeserver-support update i can't install sme9admin, i get this error massege
Package gettext-0.17-18.el6.x86_64 is obsoleted by smeserver-support-2.6.0-2.el6.sme.noarch which is already installed
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Package: rrdtool-1.4.7-1.el6.rfx.x86_64 (stephdl)
Requires: gettext
Available: gettext-0.17-18.el6.i686 (base)
gettext = 0.17-18.el6
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

Maybe you can discuss your testing and results here http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8400 (http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8400)

Did you really enable both repo's stephdl and epel?

SME9
--enablerepo blah --enablerepo blah-blah

Did you actually configure the extra stephdl & epel repos on your server ?
Just specifying their names on the command line is not sufficient.
Under Installation in
http://wiki.contribs.org/Sme9admin#Installation
are these words
"Install from the stephdl and epel repositories,"
Click on the stephdl & epel hyperlinks one by one to be taken to instructions re how to configure those repos on your server, BEFORE trying to use them to install something.
See
http://wiki.contribs.org/Stephdl
and
http://wiki.contribs.org/Epel
and for the latter make sure you click on the sme9 tab to get the correct set of instructions for your sme server version.
Then you can proceed to do the install of the contrib, heeding any issues mentioned in the bugtracker.

Thank you folks, seems I didnt correctly enable the epel repo.
For SME6,7 & 8 I would just copy and past the lines given into a putty session - job done, but for some reason, that does not work with SME9. I erred in my editing of those lines.
