I'm new to all this so please bear with me if I have missed the obvious......
I am trying to make a Liebert ProActive 700 VA UPS signal to e-smith 5.5.
I am attempting to follow Charlie Brady's UPSHOWTO (adapted for the current URLs on the e-smith ftp site).  I get an error in unpacking the RPM as shown below....

[root@noah powstatd]# rpm -ivh ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/contrib/CharlieBrady/RPMS/i386-RH7.0/powstatd-1.4.1-1.i386.rpm
Retrieving ftp://ftp.e-smith.org/pub/e-smith/contrib/CharlieBrady/RPMS/i386-RH7.0/powstatd-1.4.1-1.i386.rpm

   1:powstatd               error: unpacking of archive failed on file : cpio: Archive file not in header
[root@noah powstatd]#

Is this something I am doing wrong?
