Hi all,
I am trying to install smeserver-madsonic on my smeserver version 9 but I am running into a problem. Below is the error I get. Does anyone know of a fix?
[root@sme01 ~]# yum --enablerepo=smecontribs install smeserver-madsonic

That contrib has not yet been released as a sme9 version or otherwise moved into the smecontribs repo for sme9.
Here are the i386 sme9 contribs
http://distro.ibiblio.org/smeserver/releases/9/smecontribs/i386/RPMS/
You will have to configure the sme8 smecontribs repo on your sme9 server
see
http://wiki.contribs.org/SME9.0_Contribs_QA#Setup
& then modify the install command
yum install smeserver-madsonic --enablerepo=sme8contribs
On the Contribs main page is this Tip box link to see the status of contribs for sme9
http://wiki.contribs.org/SME9.0_Contribs_QA
No one appears to have commented whether the contrib will work on sme9, so you can try it out & let us know & the wiki can be updated.
The wiki contrib article needs updating if someone on the Doc Team would do that please.

Sorry for late reply. I did not get an email notification (or I missed it) for your reply.
I have followed your suggested and added the smecontribs8 and installed madsonic from there. So far the results are promising and I have been able to make it run. I will do some more tests and let you know, but for sure it installs and runs.
Thank you again for your help.
