It would be really useful if all the contrib instructions and descriptions had a field somewhere prominent near the top (or bottom) with a date stating when they were published and / or last updated.

Look at the bottom of the page in effect its footer info

That information is already available & easily accessed by clicking on the History tab at the top of every wiki article.

Well Well Well, I think I better take this new prescription for spectacles off to the optomertrist and get them made up. My bad !!
