I had a problem when I moves from my old SME 8.1 32 bits to SME 9.0 64 bits
I made a fresh install of SME 9.0 and restored the backup from the console during the install
Then I installed SOGo as indicated there : http://wiki.contribs.org/Sogo
But it was impossible view correctly the page http://yourdomain.net/SOGo
and it was impossible to log to this web interface.
The solution was to remove completely what I added on my old system and was copied in my new by the restore
so remove completely /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf/85SOGoAccess
AND IT WORKS
Hope it can help

If you read some of the upgrade notes & recommendations, it is indeed standard practise to manually remove ALL custom templates when upgrading from one major version to another.
There can be significant "differences" between server versions, & the templates can change, so therefore any custom templates should be recreated to suit the new operating system version.
I & others have mentioned this here many many times.
