Title: Backups and reinstall

Hi,

I have a SME 5.5 up and running on a single HD. I have convinced myself that a software raid is somewhat more safe than a single disk configuration.

I have done the "backup to desktop" on a regular basis and my question is this: If I make a fresh backup, kill the installation and reinstall SME on the software raid  and apply my backup will my system then be back to normal afterwards, ie. no lost anything (exept my own customisations)??
