I just performed a reconfigure and reboot from the command line. When the system came back up it immediately went into setup mode where I simply pushed enter at each of the questions assuming no changes would be made. Now I can't get into any of the admin services or root account because the password is wrong.
I did notice on reboot that my virtualbox service failed and during the attempt of inserting egw_default values into Mysql it failed.
Can somebody please tell me what happened and how I can access my root/admin account?

You need to reboot and when the grub menu comes up, edit the boot parameters and add 'single' to the end of the line. Then boot.
Then you will be able to reset the root account with 'passwd root' and passwd admin'.
Then reboot, login as root and examine the log files, there you will find clues on what happens.

Thank you. That worked perfectly.

after a "reconfigure and reboot" system never goes into setup mode.

Did you leave the set up CD in the drive

my guess is a "post-install" event instead of "post-upgrade"
