Title: log naming changes
Post by: ElFroggio on March 15, 2015, 06:20:02 PM
Hi,

I have noticed that the many of the log names have changed (like cron, maillog,secure,samba,spooler...). They used to be:

"service-yyyymmddhhmmss"  and now they are "service-yyyymmdd"

Are there implications? Is there something I should worry about (like I've done something wrong)?

Thanks

/Syv

I think it is something more likely due to the changing "sv" for "systemd" - Remember raise all potential bugs via the tracker please :)

This wasn't to raise a bug, but for information purposes. The logs still happen, but they happen differently from before and wanted to know why.

Thanks

it could be a bug, at least a documentation one; so please go to bugzilla, file a new one and then report here the reference, thank you
