Title: win7 support sme9

I'm in the process of installing SME9 and now trying to join Win7 clients. The documentation tells me that I have to make a registry fix and suggests using the patch win7samba.reg. I can see various comments about how/where to save this patch and how to apply it but I can't see where to download it from. Can some please advise?

OK, maybe I'm missing something here. You appear to have given me URLs back to the documentation which I've already been reading. Can you explain in simple terms?

you can download it DIRECTLY from your server

replace your-server-ip with whatever IP you have set on your server
for example if you set up  this IP 192.168.1.1 onto your server

open a browser and point on
https://192.168.1.1/server-resources/regedit/

( bypass the default screens about security and you'll probably find what you ask for)

Sorry but I was only answering to your question, but of course a bit shorter than needed
