Hi,
I must be missing something. I have installed the user access panel http://wiki.contribs.org/UserManager (http://wiki.contribs.org/UserManager). I have it working on the local network, but from the outside, I get
You don't permission to access /user on this server
So obviously, I'm missing something but what?
On the documentation it says: 'server-manager > remote access > user panel access'
I do not have that, I only have:
PPTP
Remote Management
Secure Shell
FTP
Thanks
Syv

IIRC those panels are available only from LAN side

Using the server manager Remote Management panel, if you enable remote access, then you also enable remote access for server manager and user manager.
So make sure you use a very strong (long & complex) password for server manager to kerp server manager access secure.
IIRC in the old original version of this package from Dungog there was a db command to allow access from specific external IPs & there were brief instructions displayed on screen at the end of the installation, when using command line ie
rpm -Uvh packagename
Not sure if you see those instructions when using yum or whether they are still supported in the new version.
