Title: Warning message in log
Post by: ElFroggio on April 30, 2015, 05:34:40 PM
Hi,

I'm getting the following warning message in the http_errorlog

Code: [Select]
[Thu Apr 30 08:26:12 2015] [warn] RSA server certificate CommonName (CN) `ethelbert.911networks.com' does NOT match server name!?

# hostname  returns only ethelbert
# hostname --fqd returns ethelbert.911networks.com

Thanks

Syv

it's only noise, you can safely ignore it

There is a db command to safely change the self signed certificate  CommonName so your certificate will match 911networks.com (or more probably you want to use www.911networks.com) & you avoid that error "noise".

Search here on CommonName
