Gidday,
I would like to restrict internet access from my home network via username/domain and I have been told that squid + NTLM can do this, the only problem is that I am a newbie and cannot find and docs that are newbiefied and just seem to be runing around in circles.
At home I use a w2k machine with wingate as a gateway and now I have setup SME 5.5 and that works so much better than what i had setup, BUT before I could restrict access via computer name, but now I was wondering if there was a newbiefied program/howto/doc about setting up squid to use NTLM?
Thanks a lot!

Aftrer eading your other post I suggest you go and read a few manuals. If you dont understand anything after that then maybe you should try a linux nightschool.

Have a look at the squid site. They have quite an exstensive doc section.
