Hi one and all.
Just out of curiosity has anyone else issues connecting through SME9 with PPTP? Have VPN enabled on it, as this is my open facing server. All I seem to get is a time out with the username and password. Luckily this is on a VM. I fire up SME8 and that passes through PPTP fine and all works?
To be fair I was blaming VMware as there was a known issue with the network cards. So matched both to E1000, sadly made no difference. For good measure tried the others too, same thing, SME8 works, 9 does not.
Stumped?

drifting/Paul, you've been here around since a long time now to know you'd post also some logs..
telling us "it doesn't work" doesn't help us to help you :-)

Oh I agree, it was just an open question if anyone else had seen the symptoms, before I go delving deeper into logs etc. Please don't hit me :-)
