Title: Server console at startup

Hello,


I would like to have the server console as startup screen.
Is that possible ?

When you boot SME and the end you only see a terminal with the loginprompt.
And when you login in that terminal with your loginname and password you come in the server console, which you can choose for example acces networkmanager or reboot etc.
I prefer that serverlogin instead of a black terminal with only the loginprompt as startupscreen.

console is available only when logged in.. there's no autologin and that's good.

having console always available is a bad idea

It used to be a configuration option in the console, but it is strongly deprecated for security reasons. We don't want just anyone to be able to walk up to the console and start accessing the admin menu.

You don't need to use the console menu very often, and you need to know the admin password to be able to login, so what is your problem with typing 'admin' and password to get into the menu?
