From a well known junior dev from Koozali Team:
WebApp : What does this mean??? What is WebApp, it it from FWS repository? What does it do, why is it needed?
When you don't know then you search in Google ! What is a WebApp ?
A WebApp is :
- Java Web Application Tutorial for Beginners | JournalDev (http://www.journaldev.com/1854/java-web-application-tutorial-for-beginners)
- Getting Started with Web Applications (https://docs.oracle.com/javaee/6/tutorial/doc/bnadr.html)
- Developing a Hello World Web application (http://geronimo.apache.org/GMOxDOC30/developing-a-hello-world-web-application.html)
- Bonus for the newbies: Category:Java_platform (Wikipedia) (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Category:Java_platform&pagefrom=Play+framework#mw-pages)
- ...etc
and no, it is not an invention from FWS !
The advantage of java in comparison with PHP or other language is the portability of the softwares. A same software can run on Unix, GNU/Linux, Apple (Darwin), Microsoft Windows and many more....You just need a JVM !
If you know nothing about java WebApp development, don't even think to amend any text, any wiki page or any forum post, everybody will see your incompetence!
Now, please guy if your skill level is not high enough, stop polemic and start to learn !
A+

Xavier:
- this post is OT here (in this forum)
- this post looks like something between you and "the concerned guy".. this is not the right place to private debating.
thank you
