pay attention, memcache is a nightmare..

re read the command I suggest you and retry..
you run a different command

the wiki page refers to SME8, and I don't know it it still apply to SME9

to test it, remove memcached and reinstall from epel

:( Still fails. I'm not getting the version of memcached mentioned in the wiki entry. Even after removing sogo completely and installing memcached separately, I get memcached-1.4.4-3.el6.x86_64 instead of the 1.4.5 version mentioned.

I've now reinstalled sogo from scratch, and I'm still getting the same error when trying to start it.
