I am setting up a new build environment on an SME9.1 machine and it has been a while since I done this but I can't find any instruction on how or where to install a plague-client from.
-
According to this article https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Plague it is advised not to use plague anymore..
-
So how is the build server triggered then?
'make build' gives me an error saying that the plague-client is missing.
-
No idea :-)
Here's what our wiki says https://wiki.contribs.org/SME_Server:Documentation:Developers_Manual:Chapter14#Access_to_build_system

Please open a bug requesting a plague-client available in one of our repo

As per https://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9245#c1 this is now available in smedev
Note on my vanilla CentOS 6 buildbox I got plague-client from the epel repo

Thanks. I search around in various repos including epel and was unable to find any plague for el6 at the time.
Managed to trigger the build server now:
-bash-4.1$ make build
/usr/bin/plague-client build smeserver-gitweb smeserver-gitweb-1_1_0-1_el6_sme contribs9
Package smeserver-gitweb enqueued. Job ID: 776.
