Title: Multidrop problems with SME 5.5
Post by: Laurence Griffiths on August 27, 2002, 11:07:36 AM: I have just upgraded a server from V5.0 to V5.5. I have applied updates 1 and 2.

The server picks up its email from a multidrop box on its ISP server. Under 5.0, this worked. Now it doesn't work any more. I can manually pick up the emails through the gateway by using an Outlook Express email client. - So I know that emails are reaching the ISP's email box.

Why isn't SME 5.5 picking up multidrop emails any more? Does anybody have any idea as to where I should look to find the problem?

Oh.... I have also logged in as "root" and executed "/etc/startmail". No error messages, but no email comes through anyway.

Have you reported this to Mitel / e-smith?
