Macintosh OSTo use file sharing from a Macintosh computer, you will need to be set up to use smb/cifs.
Note:
AppleTalk support was removed from SME 8.

OSX can use samba since epoch..
so, no problem to access SME's shares from a Mac..
ctrl-K -> smb://yourSMEIP

Command-K, actually. But yes, SMB/CIFS works just fine with MacOS, and Apple is even deprecating AFP in favor of it (though, so far, not for Time Machine).
