Title: block all users to send email to group address except some

Hi,

I am using SME9.0 and some of my users are sending unnecessary emails to group address (group_name@domain.com) which send single email to all users under that group.

Is to possible to block all users to send email to group except some users from Administration? if yes then please explain how to configure it.

No, there is no such feature available in the server-manager. You would need to write and install custom software to add that restriction.

Your easiest solution is to train your users. Inform them of your policy, and watch your logs and discipline them when they do not follow the rules.

Mailing list software can probably do that eg ezmlm etc

Alternatively to block individual email addresses from sending mail to another email address you can use badmailfromto
Search these forums on badmailfromto for the answer.
